Summary

VoxLink AI is free, open-source software released under the MIT License. Use it at your own risk. We provide no warranties and have no servers — your data goes directly to Aliyun, not through us.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using VoxLink AI ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. License

VoxLink AI is open-source software released under the MIT License. You are free to:

  • Use the software for any purpose, including commercial use
  • Study how the software works and modify it
  • Distribute copies of the original or modified software
  • Sublicense copies under the same license terms

The only requirement is that you include the original copyright notice and license text in any copies or substantial portions of the software.

3. BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) Model

VoxLink AI operates on a BYOK model:

  • Your API Keys: You are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining your Aliyun API key
  • Your Usage: All API usage is billed directly to your Aliyun account
  • Your Responsibility: You are responsible for managing your API key securely and monitoring your usage
  • Local Storage: Your API key is stored locally in macOS Keychain — we cannot access it

4. No Developer Servers

Important: The developer of VoxLink AI operates zero servers. This means:

  • Your voice data is transmitted directly to Aliyun for transcription
  • We do not collect, store, or have access to any of your data
  • We cannot see your API keys, transcriptions, or usage patterns
  • There is no central server that could be compromised

5. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services to function:

  • Aliyun FunASR: For speech-to-text transcription. Your voice audio is sent to Aliyun's servers. Subject to Aliyun's Terms of Service.
  • Aliyun Qwen: For AI text polishing. Your transcribed text is sent to Aliyun's servers. Subject to Aliyun's Terms of Service.
  • Supabase (Optional): For user authentication, if enabled. Subject to Supabase's Terms of Service.

You are responsible for complying with the terms of service of these third-party providers.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • We are not liable for any loss of data, profits, or use
  • We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of Aliyun services
  • We are not liable for any damages arising from the inability to use the App

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developers of VoxLink AI from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the App
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party terms of service
  • Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations

9. System Requirements

  • macOS 14.0 (Sonoma) or later
  • Working microphone
  • Internet connection (for Aliyun services)
  • Accessibility permissions (for global hotkey and auto-typing)

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted to this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

4. 无开发者服务器

重要：VoxLink AI 的开发者运营 零台服务器。这意味着：

  • 您的语音数据直接传输到阿里云进行转录
  • 我们不收集、存储或访问您的任何数据
  • 我们无法看到您的 API 密钥、转录内容或使用模式
  • 没有可能被攻破的中央服务器

5. 第三方服务

本应用依赖以下第三方服务运行：

  • 阿里云 FunASR：用于语音转文字转录。您的语音音频发送到阿里云服务器。受阿里云服务条款约束。

9. 系统要求

  • macOS 14.0 (Sonoma) 或更高版本
  • 正常工作的麦克风

10. 条款变更
